The Two Fatalities Revealed in Brown University Incident as Authorities Persist in Search for Perpetrator.

Two students who died in Saturday’s tragic incident at Brown University were honored at the start of the week – as a manhunt for their shooter carried on following the freeing by local law enforcement of the sole person of interest in the case.

Tributes for Ella Cook

The student Ella Cook, a second-year scholar from Alabama, was described as “an incredible, grounded, faithful, bright light”, as stated by the Cathedral Church of the Advent, Birmingham, which honored her memory at a service on Sunday.

Cook was the vice-presidency of Brown’s branch of the College Republicans organization, the group said. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also expressed words of sorrow online, stating: “It's indescribable. Thinking of her family and friends, particularly her mother and father.”

An International Student

The other person killed was MukhammadAziz Umurzokov, from Uzbekistan in his initial year at the Ivy League university, according to relatives.

The victim's identification was confirmed by the foreign office of Uzbekistan.

“He was exceptionally gentle, witty, and bright. He had big dreams of entering the field of neurosurgery and helping people,” his sister, Samira Umurzokova said in a online post.
