In a bizarre partnership that challenges usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "A strange encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying changes resonate through the shadows." The plot introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden sect.
The mission focuses on "peculiar tests and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses
The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Bonus Material
Players who finish the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana alongside multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

This patch also brings the game's third no-cost story episode, titled "A Puzzlement."
